A vibrant, metabolism-boosting herbal drink inspired by Brazil. This Brazilian Mounjaro recipe supports digestion, energy, and gentle detox—all with simple, natural ingredients.
Ingredients
2 cups hot water
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (raw, with the mother)
1 tbsp butterfly pea flowers
1 tsp yerba mate tea
½ tsp camu camu powder
½ tsp ginger extract or freshly grated ginger
Juice of ½ lemon
Optional: 1 tsp raw honey
Optional: ½ tsp cinnamon
Optional: Pinch of cayenne
Optional: ½ tsp psyllium husk
Optional: Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Boil 2 cups of water and remove from heat.
2. Add butterfly pea flowers and yerba mate to steep for 5 minutes.
3. Strain into a glass or mug.
4. Stir in camu camu powder and ginger.
5. Add lemon juice and mix gently.
6. Let the tea cool slightly, then add apple cider vinegar.
7. Optionally stir in honey, cinnamon, cayenne, or psyllium husk.
8. Garnish with mint or a cinnamon stick.
9. Serve warm or over ice, depending on preference.
Notes
Start with a small amount of cayenne if you’re new to spice.
Use a straw to protect your enamel from ACV acidity.
Drink on an empty stomach for the best results.
You can double the batch and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days.
